Currently our police department is staffed by, Chief of Police Don Routch, 8 full time officers, including Sergeant Rod Fairman and Sergeant Kris Kruzelak, and 7 part-time officers,

Our police department rapidly responds to all calls and our officers are continually updating their skills through various training and certification courses offered throughout the state."

The police department also works in conjunction with other area departments in an ongoing effort to keep our community safe and drug free.

Officers are also available to meet public service needs with programs such as Drug and Alcohol Awareness, Stranger Danger, Bike Safety and talks about our police department and the real life challenges they face while continually striving to keep our community safe. If you are interested in having one of our officers speak at your school, meeting or event, please contact the Chief of Police or one of our Sergeants to make arrangements.

Five of our officers had the opportunity to attend training presented by NASTA which included various live scenarios such as hostage situations, deployment and entry scenarios and classroom training. They also had the opportunity to experiance various new shooting techniques including one taught to NASTA by a founding member of Delta Force.
