Sandy Township, incorporated as a 2nd class township in 1878, governed by a five member Board of Supervisors, and home to a myriad of businesses, industry, and a intermodal rail hub. Go to Economic Development (Departments) page to see more.
Our offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; except for holidays of which, offices are closed on New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving & Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.
For any regularly scheduled meetings that fall on a holiday, it will be rescheduled.
For all Planning Commission (PC) Meetings, all agenda items and plans must be submitted No-Later-Than 12 PM on the Wednesday prior to the regular scheduled PC Meeting.
